Responsible use

PowerUpSkool is an independent product: not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Skool.com. It works by reading what your browser already shows on screen — the same thing you'd do by hand, only faster.

This isn't a law, it's a private contract. The realistic risk of breaking it is suspension of your Skool account, not a court penalty. Review Skool's terms before automating bulk actions, and never use the tool to bypass the platform's technical or paywall limits.

PowerUpSkool is designed for community owners, admins and moderators — not so a customer can extract data from the community they belong to. The extension detects your role in each Skool community and, if you are not a manager, it blocks the retention radar, moderation, per-member engagement, bulk mentions and any export.

As a regular member you keep the personal features: aggregated metrics of the current view, compact feed, focus mode, snippets, shortcuts and AI on visible content. No member lists, no data files.

As a member you only see what the community already shows you. Using PowerUpSkool for your own analytics, to organise your feed, summarise content or prepare your replies is normal, low-risk usage.

What is problematic: extracting member lists from a community you don't run in order to contact them off-platform, reselling that data, or reusing other people's content as your own. That's no longer personal analytics.

Names, handles, emails and member activity are personal data. If you export and process them you are effectively acting as data controller: you need a legal basis (usually documented legitimate interest or consent) and a specific purpose.

Practical rules: export only what you need, keep it for as short a time as possible, don't upload it to third-party tools without checking where it ends up, and delete files once you're done. If you send commercial messages, also follow your country's electronic marketing rules.

Analysis happens in your browser. We don't send your community's content to our servers: only aggregated, anonymous metrics when you enable Agency cloud sync — never members' personal data.

We don't store passwords, don't access other people's private messages, don't post or delete anything unless you explicitly ask, and never sell data to anyone.

Moderation features (spam flags, warnings, actions on posts or members) are meant for people who hold an admin or moderator role in that community. Without that role Skool will block them — and you shouldn't try to force them either.

With bulk actions, always review the list before running. A badly segmented mass message isn't just a legal problem — it's a reputation problem.

A member can ask you for access, correction or deletion of their data. If you've exported lists, know where they are so you can honour that request and delete them. That's the main reason not to hoard old exports "just in case".
