How much Skool costs in 2026: plans, fees and true cost

The monthly fee is the small part. Your real cost is decided by the fee on every member payment.

How much Skool costs in 2026: plans, fees and true cost

Skool has two plans and both start with a 14-day trial. The fee is charged per community you host, not per account. On annual billing the effective price works out at roughly two months free.

The point where Pro pays off

The fee gap between plans is $90 a month, and the commission gap is 7.1 percentage points. Divide 90 by 0.071 and you get around $1,270: above that monthly recurring revenue, Pro is cheaper than Hobby even though its fee is eleven times higher. Below it, Hobby wins.

Quick rule: below ~$1,270/month in revenue, Hobby. Above it, Pro.

The cost nobody calculates: churn

A 100-member community at €40 losing 8% a month stops earning €320 every month, and that is more than any platform fee. That is why Skool's real cost is not optimised by switching plans, but by cutting churn: answering unanswered threads within 24 hours, spotting who hasn't logged in for weeks and reactivating them before they cancel.

PowerUpSkool costs less than a single lost member per month. See the plans.
