Skool sign-in problems: how to recover access
Signing into your account and entering a community are different problems. Identify yours before creating another account.

When you cannot get into Skool, first identify where access stops. Does the platform reject your credentials, or can you sign in but not find a community? The first situation concerns your account; the second may involve your email address, an outstanding invitation or your membership. Separating them prevents unnecessary password changes and makes the next step clearer.
Check the account before resetting anything
Skool ties your account to the email address used at registration and recommends using one account across your communities. Find a welcome message or an earlier community email to identify that address. Enter the official sign-in address yourself in your browser. As a troubleshooting recommendation, also check whether autofill is inserting an old email address rather than the one you intended.
Recover access without exposing credentials
The official guide directs members to skool.com/reset-password to reset their password. Check spam and secondary inbox folders if the message is missing. Never send your password, codes or recovery links to an administrator, and never post them in the community feed. Once signed in, open the specific community separately: recovering an account does not itself grant a community membership.
Worked example: two different email addresses
Suppose Marta received an invitation at her work address but signs in with a personal account. Her login works, yet the expected group is missing. Our recommendation is to compare the invitation recipient with the currently signed-in account first. If she needs to use a different account for membership, she should explain that to the administrator; Skool states that accounts cannot be merged.
Checklist before asking for help
- Identify whether the whole account fails or only one community is unavailable.
- Record the error message and when it appeared, without including secrets.
- Check the registered email and spam folders before repeating the reset process.
- When contacting the administrator, provide the group link and a short description; redact personal information from any screenshots you choose to share.
If the problem persists, avoid opening several accounts as an experiment. Keep one clear summary of what happened and use official support channels. This reduces confusion between your identity, community access and any existing subscription.
